Overnight oats in a jar

Preparation:

For one serving, combine 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed, 2/3 cup milk, 1/3 cup plain yogurt, 2 teaspoons brown sugar or maple syrup, and a pinch each of salt and cinnamon in a small jar. Stir in your favorite toppings (or see some of our favorites below), seal, and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, simply open the jar, stir the oats, and add your toppings.

Spicy Mango

Additions: 0.5 tsp orange zest and 1/4 tsp ground cardamom

Topping: mango pieces and pomegranate seeds

Chocolate - hazelnut

Additions: 1 tbsp. sweet cocoa powder and 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts

Topping: chopped hazelnuts and chocolate

Strawberry - banana

Additions: 1/4 cup freeze-dried strawberries (chopped) and half a sliced ​​banana
