Brownie mix cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 box (520 g) dry fudge brownie mix
  • 110 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation:

  1. Position oven racks in the upper and lower thirds of the oven and preheat to 350°F (175°C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the brownie mix, butter, and egg until smooth, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Place 24 dough balls (about 2 tablespoons each) on the prepared baking sheets. Gently flatten each ball with the palm of your hand.
  4. Bake until the cookies are spread and the edges are set, rotating the baking sheets halfway through baking, 10-12 minutes. Cool the cookies on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
