Sausage appetizer

Ingredients:

  • 450 g raw spicy pork sausages
  • 280 g of grated cheddar
  • 3 cups baking mix or self-raising flour

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, mix the sausage, cheese, and flour on low speed until smooth. Season with pepper to taste. Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them 1-inch apart on a clean baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
  3. Transfer the balls to paper towels, sprinkle with salt and serve hot, warm or at room temperature.
