Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups of vodka
- 8 bags of black tea
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (from 6-8 lemons), plus a few lemon slices for serving
- Fresh mint for serving
Preparation:
- Place the tea bags in a heatproof pitcher and pour 5 cups of boiling water over them. Let steep for 10 minutes, then remove the tea bags. Pour half the tea into an ice cube tray and freeze for about 3 hours. Refrigerate the remaining tea.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water. Boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
- Add 1 cup of sugar syrup, lemon juice, 5 cups of cold water, and vodka to the cooled tea. Then add the iced tea cubes. Pour into glasses. Serve with lemon slices and mint leaves.
