Ingredients:
- 1 red bell pepper, stemmed and seeded
- 30 ml dark rum
- 20 ml silver tequila
- 15 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 7 ml simple sugar syrup
- 7 ml caraway liqueur, such as Combier Kümmel
- 1 drop of bitters and black walnut
- Lemon peel, for decoration
Preparation:
- Make juice from sweet peppers:
Puree the bell peppers in a high-power blender (or juice them with a juicer). Strain through a fine-mesh sieve.
- Combine 30 ml of sweet pepper juice, rum, tequila, lemon juice, simple syrup, caraway liqueur, and bitters in a cocktail shaker with ice; shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with lemon peel.
