Isadora Duncan Cocktail

Ingredients:

    Honey syrup with sage

  • 1 sage leaf
  • 140 g of honey

    Cocktail

  • 3 blackberries
  • 45 ml bourbon
  • 40 ml lemon juice
  • 1 sage leaf

Preparation:

  1. Make honey syrup with sage:

    In a small saucepan, bring 3/4 cup of water and sage to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 7-10 minutes. Remove the sage leaf and stir in the honey to dissolve. Let cool.
  2. Make a cocktail:

    Muddle the blackberries in a shaker. Add bourbon, lemon juice, and 20-40 ml of honey-sage syrup. Add ice and shake well.
  3. Strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe glass. Rub a sage leaf between your palms to release its aroma, and place it on top of the cocktail.
