Chocolate cherry sangria topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1 cup chocolate liqueur
- 1 cup ruby port
- 1 cup cherries in syrup, strain and set aside 0.5 cups of syrup
- 1 package (340 g) of frozen cherries
- 1 bottle (750 ml) of Petit Sirah or other full-bodied red wine
- 1 bottle (0.5 l.) cherry cola
Preparation:
- Combine wine, cola, liqueur, and port in a three-liter pitcher. Add cherries, syrup, and frozen cherries and cover the pitcher with plastic wrap. Refrigerate the sangria to chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- To serve, fill 8 glasses halfway with ice, then pour in the sangria and place a cherry in each glass.
