Ingredients:

  • Garlic - four large cloves
  • Spicy greens - a bunch or an assortment of small bunches
  • Onion - one large head
  • Tomatoes - eight hundred grams
  • Tomato juice - a couple of glasses
  • Broth, any - a couple of glasses
  • Fine table salt - a pinch
  • Pepper, powdered, red - a little

Preparation:

  1. Peel the onion and garlic, rinse with cool water, and pat dry with a paper towel. Dice the onion and finely chop the garlic. Add both ingredients to a frying pan. Pour in the olive oil. Place on the stovetop over medium heat. Stir-fry until the onion is translucent.
  2. Rinse the tomatoes in cool water and pat dry with a paper towel. Remove the stems and skins, and puree the pulp. Add to the pan. Stir. Cover and simmer for five to six minutes.
  3. Prepare a saucepan and place it on the stovetop at medium heat. Pour in the tomato juice and the tomato and onion mixture. Stir. Pour in the broth. Cover and simmer for thirty minutes.
  4. Let the soup cool for half an hour. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Rinse the herbs in cool water, shaking them several times. Pat dry with a paper towel. Chop with a knife and add to the soup. Puree the soup with an immersion blender. Refrigerate for one hour.

    How to serve?

Pour the soup into clean medical test tubes. Serve. Creepy, but convincing!
