Pina Pisco cocktail topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
Flavored pisco
- 4 strips of orange zest
- 2 sprigs of fresh mint
- 2 bags of masala tea
- 1 bottle of pisco
Pina Pisco
- Ice
- 2 orange slices
- A little pineapple juice
- Seasoned salt to garnish the rim of the glass (a mixture of salt, sugar and crushed pink peppercorns)
- Seltzer water to top off the cocktail
- Frozen pineapple balls, for decoration
Preparation:
- Flavored pisco:
Add orange strips, mint sprigs, and tea bags to a bottle of pisco tea. Let it steep for at least 24 hours. The longer the tea steeps, the stronger the flavor will be. Carefully remove the tea bags.
- Pina Pisco:
Add some ice to a cocktail shaker. Squeeze the orange slices into the shaker (save the peel). Add a shot of flavored pisco and pineapple juice. Shake for about 30 seconds.
- Wet the rim of the glass with a squeezed orange wedge. Dip it in seasoned salt to ensure it sticks. Pour the contents of the shaker into the prepared glass. Top it off with a splash of seltzer water. Garnish with pineapple balls to keep the drink chilled.
