Traditional guacamole

Ingredients:

  • 4 firm, ripe avocados, halved, pitted and peeled
  • Half a small white onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime

Preparation:

  1. Mash the avocado coarsely in a medium bowl. Lightly toss with the onion, cilantro, and lime juice. Season generously with salt and pepper.
