topcook.tomathouse.com

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound frozen flame-broiled beef patties, thawed (such as Ballpark)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cups heavy cream
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • 450 g fresh pappardelle pasta
  • Parmesan, for serving

Preparation:

  1. In a large saucepan, bring salted water to a boil.
  2. Using your hands or a knife, break or cut the beef patties into pea-sized pieces.
  3. In a large skillet with straight sides, combine the pizza sauce, chicken broth, heavy cream, nutmeg, and meat and heat over medium-high heat. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce is heated through, 2-3 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in boiling water according to package directions. Drain, add the pasta to the sauce, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese melts. Serve immediately.
