Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs category CO
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 cups of wheat flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1.5 cups chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup chopped pitted dates
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and grease a cookie sheet.

In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat 3 eggs with the sugar. Add the butter, flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon, then fold in the chopped nuts and dried fruit. Turn the dough out onto a floured board. Divide it into 2 pieces and shape each into a tube 35 cm long and 4-5 cm wide.
  2. Place the rolls on a baking sheet, leaving 5 cm between them. Beat the remaining egg and brush the dough with it. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 20 minutes in the middle of the oven.

Let the rolls cool for 5 minutes. Using a serrated knife, cut each roll into 2-cm-wide slices. Place the slices cut-side up on a baking sheet and return to the oven for 15 minutes, until the cookies are golden brown.
