Homemade White Chocolate Liqueur

topcook.tomathouse.com

Ingredients:

  • 110 g of white chocolate
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons bourbon vanilla
  • 1 cup of vodka

Preparation:

  1. Place white chocolate, cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla in a saucepan. Heat slowly, stirring, until the chocolate melts.
  2. When the chocolate is completely melted, remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  3. Stir in vodka and place in a resealable container. Let the liqueur steep for 12-24 hours (preferably in the refrigerator) before using. Bottle the liqueur or (optional) strain through a double layer of cheesecloth or a nut milk bag. (Gently squeeze the cheesecloth to help the liqueur drain.)

Enjoy this creamy chocolate liqueur neat or in cocktails. Enjoy!
