Ingredients:
- 1 kg of fresh fruit, any berries or stone fruits
- 240 g of sugar
- 30 ml lemon juice
- 15 ml of vodka
- A pinch of salt
Preparation:
- Berries: Rinse the strawberries, remove the stems, and cut in half. Peel and core the fruit, then cut in half. Cut larger fruits into 1 cm pieces.
- Puree the fruit in a food processor with sugar, lemon juice, vodka, and salt. Transfer to another container and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours, until the puree reaches 4°C (39°F).
- Then, transfer the fruit puree to an ice cream maker and process according to the manufacturer's instructions. The mixture should resemble soft-serve ice cream. Transfer the sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
