Spicy edamame pods topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 2 teaspoons coarse salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 0.5 tsp dried oregano
- 1 bag (450 g) frozen edamame beans in pods (green soybeans)
Preparation:
- In a small dry skillet over medium heat, stirring, heat the salt, chili powder and red pepper until fragrant, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and crumble oregano into the mixture.
- Boil the edamame pods in salted water until tender, about 8 minutes. Drain in a colander and pat dry. Toss the edamame pods with the spice mixture and serve warm.
