Ingredients:

  • 450 g of ground beef
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3/4 cup simple breadcrumbs
  • Sliced ​​green olives with pimento pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.5 cup apricot jelly
  • 1 cup chili sauce

Preparation:

  1. Using a fork or clean hands, gently mix the ground meat, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper. Form into 2.5 cm balls. Press a green olive ring into each ball to create pupils.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet and brown the meatballs on all sides. Drain the fat.
  3. In a bowl, combine the jelly and chili sauce and pour over the meatballs. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes over medium-low heat, turning the meatballs regularly.
