Apple sauce in 10 minutes topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 3 quartered Golden Delicious apples (peel and core)
- 3 quartered Fuji apples (peeled and cored)
- 1 cup unfiltered natural apple juice
- 2 tbsp. cognac or brandy
- 2 tbsp (30 g) butter
- 3 tablespoons of honey
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Preparation:
- In a microwave-safe plastic container, combine the apples with the other ingredients. Close the lid, leaving one corner open to allow steam to escape. Microwave on high power for 10 minutes.
Use a blender or potato masher to achieve the desired consistency. Serve the sauce immediately while hot, or refrigerate for later use.
