Ingredients:
- 1 head of cabbage weighing 900 g, shredded, crushed by hand
- 4 carrots, cut into strips
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced into half rings
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper
- Coarse salt
Preparation:
- Prepare the salad dressing: In a salad bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, apple cider vinegar, sugar, a teaspoon of black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of ground cayenne pepper.
- Add vegetables to the dressing: cabbage, carrots and onions and mix, season with salt and pepper.
Before serving, let the sweet cabbage, carrot, and onion salad sit in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
