Ingredients:
- 3 cups whole milk
- 90 g milk chocolate, finely chopped
- 30 g sugar-free chocolate, finely chopped
- 6 large egg yolks
- 0.5 cups of sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
- 350 gr. chocolate wafer cookies
- 4 large bananas, peeled and sliced 0.5cm thick.
- 2 cups sweet whipped cream
- Chocolate shavings, for decoration
Preparation:
- Pour the milk into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Whisk in the chopped chocolate and heat until melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, sugar, and cornstarch. Slowly stir in the chocolate mixture. Pour everything back into the saucepan. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring, until the mixture thickens.
Remove the pan from the heat, stir in the vanilla, and pour everything into a clean bowl. Place plastic wrap on the surface of the custard and let it cool at room temperature.
- Spread 1 cup of frosting evenly in a 22 x 32 cm glass dish. Layer the cookies, bananas, and frosting on top. Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, top the pudding with whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
