Ingredients:
- 4 ripe peaches, halved, pitted and cut into 4 slices each
- 55 g butter, melted
- 4 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 slices bread with raisins and walnuts
- A pinch of coarse salt
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 175°C.
- In a 2-quart oval baking dish, combine the peaches, 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, and vanilla. Stir with a spatula to combine the ingredients, then arrange the peaches cut-side up.
- Place the bread and salt in the bowl of a food processor. Process until finely chopped (but not crumbly, otherwise it will stick together). Transfer to a bowl and combine with the remaining 2 tablespoons (30 g) butter and 2 tablespoons maple syrup. Sprinkle the bread mixture evenly over the peaches.
- Bake until peaches are very tender and bread crumbs are golden brown, 30 to 35 minutes.
